Chirag Desai is a passionate advocate for the underdog, dedicated to helping those who have been wronged, injured, or oppressed. Born in Zambia and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, his journey to becoming a lawyer began when he left home at 18 to pursue the American Dream in Charlotte, North Carolina. After studying psychology at UNC Charlotte, he moved to Morgantown, West Virginia, for law school at WVU, despite facing adversity and doubts from others about his success due to his background.
Through resilience and determination, Chirag became a partner at a personal injury law firm by age 29, eventually launching Desai Law in January 2023. Desai Law focuses on representing individuals who have suffered traumatic injuries or tragedies, as well as employees holding employers accountable. Chirag believes in the power of personal connections with clients, and his practice thrives on referrals from satisfied clients, many of whom he maintains lasting relationships with.
Chirag’s mission is to help people turn their tragedies into triumphs, standing firm against powerful opponents such as insurance companies and large entities. His personal experience as an underdog fuels his drive to fight for those in need, ensuring that their battles are worth fighting.
